Cyber Phoenix LTD ("we") builds the exam prep apps listed on this site. This policy explains what those apps and this website collect, and what we do with it. It applies to every app we publish under the Best Exam Apps name.
Your study data stays on your device. We do not have accounts, we do not run advertising, and we do not sell or share personal data with anyone. The only thing that leaves your device is a purchase record, and that is only so the app knows what you have paid for.
Your answers, scores, streaks, review schedule, predicted score and settings are stored locally on your phone. They are not transmitted to us and we cannot see them. Deleting the app deletes them.
When you start a trial or buy an unlock, the purchase is handled by Apple or Google and recorded by RevenueCat, our subscription provider, so the app can tell whether your access is active. What is recorded is:
That identifier is not linked to your name, email or Apple or Google account, and none of it is used for tracking or advertising. We never see your payment card. Apple and Google handle the payment itself under their own privacy policies.
If you switch on the optional daily practice reminder, the notification is scheduled locally on your device. It is off unless you turn it on, and no reminder data reaches us.
bestexamapps.com is a static site. It sets no cookies, runs no advertising and embeds no third-party trackers. Our host records standard server logs, including IP address and page requested, for security and to keep the site running. Those logs are not used to build a profile of you.
Where UK GDPR applies, we process purchase data on the basis of performing our contract with you, which is giving you the access you paid for. Because we hold no account and no contact details, there is usually nothing of yours for us to look up. If you believe we hold data about you, you can ask us to confirm it, correct it, or delete it by emailing support@bestexamapps.com. Include the receipt or transaction identifier so we can find the record. We answer within 30 days.
You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
These apps are professional certification tools intended for adults. They are not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13.
Purchase records are kept for as long as your access is active, and afterwards for as long as tax and accounting law requires us to keep records of a sale. Local study data lives on your device until you delete it or remove the app.
If this policy changes in a way that affects you, the date at the top of this page changes and the new version is published here before it takes effect.
